Ending Rounds: At the end of every round, slip stitch (sl st) into the first single crochet to join. Pull the joining slip stitch tight to hide the seam. Continuous Oval: Round 1 of both the head and body begins with a foundation chain. You will crochet completely around both sides of the chain to create an oval shape.
