Abbreviations (us terms)

MR - Magic Ring ch - chain sc - single crochet inc - increase (2 sc in one stitch) dec - decrease (sc 2 together / invisible decrease) sl st - slip stitch FLO - Front Loop Only (...) x - repeat instructions in parentheses x times [...] - repeat instructions in brackets (#) - stitch count at the end of the round Special Notes & Techniques X-Stitch (Yarn Under): Used 'cross single crochet' technique. To achieve this texture, place your hook over the yarn (yarn under) instead of under the yarn when pulling up your loops. Joined Rounds: At the end of every round, slip stitch (sl st) into the marked first stitch of the round to join. Starting Chain: At the beginning of every round, chain 1 (ch 1) as a turning chain. Tight Decreases: When making decreases, keep the working yarn tight with your tension hand to prevent gaps or visible marks.
