Abbreviations (us terms)

ch = chain st(s) = stitch(es) sc = single crochet dc = double crochet sl st = slip stitch RS = Right Side (the outside of the bag) WS = Wrong Side (the inside of the bag)

Special stitches

3-Wrap Puff Stitch: Yarn over, put your hook into the stitch, and pull up a loop. Do this 3 times total in the same spot. You will have many loops on your hook. Pull the yarn through all loops except the very last one. Yarn over again and pull through the final 2 loops. 2-Wrap Puff Stitch: Do the exact same steps as above, but only wrap and pull up a loop 2 times instead of 3.

Notes

You will crochet the base in a continuous oval-shaped rectangle. For the body of the bag, you must turn your work inside-out at the end of every round so your stitches don't slant.
